I just got back from having a rather good time, and we are now playing some
VNV Nation for our musically ignorant flatmate. This is going to be comments
rather than a review, I don't think I'm up to it.

Resurrection Eve were very good.

I really liked the music and enjoyed the spectacle.

The singer was rather cute and his dancing only went into self-parody once.

I couldn't resist the urge to dance (or at least jiggle) and was the only
one to do so during two of their songs!

I bought their first album from the singer after the gig, and found out
there is another album being released in September.

They are playing at <insert name> in Fitzroy on Wednesday July 3rd.

I intend to buy the next album.

Abyss is a good venue with a satisfactory sound system.

There was a girl who belly danced. She wore a belly dancer outfit.

The people on the door were friendly.

I liked the music the DJs played, although I'd possibly heard a little bit
too much of the first set after the band played.

There was the full panoply of goths and costumes, some divine and some
laughable.

I'm stopping now.
